How the standard changes, and when.
The standard is versioned. Material revisions are released no more than once a year, after a public comment period of at least 30 days. Adopters are notified and asked to re-acknowledge the current version.

Initial release of the 4ᵗʰ Place Standard: the commitment, scope, exceptions, adoption requirements, placard specification, and governance.
How revisions work
Minor clarifications (typos, translation refinements) are issued without re-acknowledgment and noted here. Material changes go through public comment first. Proposals and decisions are published.
